Malin Clyde has worked in forestry and natural resources for non-profits, local government, and the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH where she is currently an Extension Specialist in Community Volunteers. She is passionate about stewardship (caring for the land) and getting more people involved in citizen science. She led the creation of Nature Groupie in 2012 to improve stewardship collaboration in New England, and to involve more people, use better technology, and empower generations of outdoor enthusiasts to volunteer for nature. She was born and raised in Alaska, but now does most of her hiking and exploring in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She holds an M.S. in Forest Resources from the University of Washington and a BA from Yale University.
