As the Community Engagement Specialist for Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, Kelsey is thrilled to partner with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. Prior to her current role, she coordinated Georgia Mountains Children’s Forest Network, coordinated Arbor Montessori’s outdoor program, and spent as much time outside and with people as she could, gardening and serving in community engagement roles. Academically, she double majored in peace & conflict studies and sociology/anthropology, and minored in community studies. In her free time, she loves to travel, garden, and be still in the woods. Ask her about the time she was a professional chocolate maker!
