Jordan Bowman

Director of Communications

Jordan was born and raised in Georgia and spent much of his formative years traversing the Appalachian Trail and other footpaths in the Southeast. In 2014, he embraced this life-long passion fully and completed a northbound thru-hike of the A.T.

Jordan earned a B.A. in English and Creative Writing at Berry College in 2008, and a M.A. in Secondary Education from Georgia State University in 2010. He worked as a writer, journalist, and English teacher before coming to the ATC. When not traversing the trails or writing, he enjoys biking, running, kayaking, traveling abroad, and reading.
