Conner is responsible for detecting and controlling invasive exotic plants, managing vegetation in open areas along the Appalachian Trail, monitoring rare plants, leading phenology workshops, and assisting with other conservation initiatives as needed.
Conner grew up in the Roanoke area and has loved being close to the A.T. He has a degree in environmental studies from Roanoke College and he plans on thru-hiking the A.T. in 2017.
