Adam Brown

Conservation Stewardship Manager

Adam is the land and facilities manager for the Kellogg Conservation Center in Massachusetts and is involved in Appalachian Trail management in southern New England.

Adam originally hails from the east Texas town of Texarkana, but has been living in New England for over a decade now. Prior to beginning work with the ATC in 2007, he filled various seasonal posts with the Appalachian Mountain Club in the White Mountain region of New Hampshire for a few years, where he fell in love with New England and eventually decided to stay.

Adam holds a BS in Education – Outdoor Recreation and Leisure Services from Baylor University as well as a MS in Park and Natural Resources Management from Slippery Rock University. He lives with his wife, Hannah Fries, and dog Judge in the backwoods town of Sandisfield in Berkshire County, Massachusetts on five acres where they enjoy skiing, wandering in the woods, swimming, gardening, and procuring their own firewood.
