The Town of Troutville’s 11th annual Troutville Trail Days presented by Outdoor Trails is a Free community festival. It celebrates the local community, all of the outdoor activities Botetourt County has to offer, the Appalachian Trail and the yearly thru-hikers who make the nearly 2,200 mile trek from Georgia to Maine. Troutville Trail Days has something for the entire family. There are local vendors, artisans, guided hikes on the Appalachian Trail, thru-hiker support, food, music, fun and so much more. Come out Saturday any time between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, June 1st to enjoy the fun!

Thru-hiker meals start Friday, May 31 in the evening in Troutville and go through Saturday night. Hiker gear repair and James River tubing trip available on Saturday. Free Shuttles to and from Troutville Town Park, Outdoor Trails, and local hotels in Daleville all day.

There is Free camping in the Troutville Town Park all weekend for not only the hikers, but the community as well. Come on Friday and stay until Sunday! Tent and hammock camping only. No vehicles or RV’s.

*Only service dogs are allowed inside the park. Thru-Hikers who are hiking with dogs can utilize a designated area outside the Town Park for camping, however the dogs are not allowed in the park area at anytime.
