This winter solstice, help build the momentum we started at this year’s Emerging Leaders’ Summit! Join us on Tuesday, December 21 from 6-7:30 p.m. EST for our next Emerging Leaders Gathering
These quarterly virtual gatherings will feature creative and professional development workshops with inspiring facilitators, opportunities to collaborate and grow your network, and ways to share ideas and support.
For the Winter Solstice Gathering, we will create and workshop poems based on the following questions:
• What parts of you feel unheard, exhausted, or dormant when it comes to environmental and social injustice?
• How do you want to move forward with renewal?
Presenter: Aniya Butler
Aniya Butler is a 15-year-old spoken word poet, published author, and youth organizer with Youth Vs. Apocalypse (YVA) from Oakland, California.
Aniya also serves as a Changemaker with the Center for Law and Social Policy’s (CLASP) New Deal for Youth Initiative.
