The ATC’s Emerging Leaders’ Summit (ELS) offers participants ages 18-30 trainings, workshops, and experiences with a focus on building skills and community through the lens of the Appalachian Trail.

To commemorate ATC’s centennial celebration, the theme for this Summit is 100 years. One future. Blazing the Trail ahead. Join us as we learn about the history of the past century and forge a future for the next century and generation of young leaders.

Who Should Apply for the Summit?
- Young Adults, Ages 18 to 30
- Representing different education levels and work experience
- Interested in learning about Appalachian Trail Stewardship
- Passionate about empowering others to make the outdoors and the Appalachian Trail a welcoming place for all
- Varying levels of outdoor experience
- Looking to build community through shared learning and experience
*Priority will be given to those residing in the eastern United States.
