Update: After a multi-day search, Marcin Bachleda-Blaszczak was confirmed safe this afternoon in North Carolina outside of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is asking for the public's assistance in locating Marcin Bachelda-Blaszczak. His last known location was the park's Sugarlands Visitor Center parking lot on August 22. Bachleda-Blaszczak is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and approximately 170 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He is from Illinois. See the missing persons flyer below for pictures.

Investigators are pursuing all leads, including gathering information about Bachleda‑Blaszczak’s plans and identifying anyone who may have seen him or has information about his whereabouts.
