100 Ways to Explore and Celebrate the Appalachian Trail

Whether you’re new to the Trail or a lifelong lover, the A.T. Summer Bucket List is an invitation to explore, learn, and celebrate the Appalachian Trail in new and exciting ways from wherever you are. You might see the sunrise from the Trail, learn about A.T. history, go chasing waterfalls, or make art inspired by your time outdoors.

How It Works

  1. Sign up with your email to get the full bucket list.
  2. Unlock surprise challenges revealed throughout the summer—follow the ATC on Instagram and Facebook and keep an eye out for occasional email Bucket List reminders via email to see mystery items and complete mini challenges.
  3. Share your progress on social media using #ATBucketList26 for a chance to be featured!
  4. Complete at least 25 items by September 7 to be entered in the drawing of one of ten grand prize packages, which include: a pair of Altra Lone Peak 9 shoes, a pair of Darn Tough ATC socks, and an Osprey pack.

Bucket list submissions open August 24. You will receive a special form by email to log your completed activities and enter to win.
