Union Pacific's Big Boy No. 4014, the world's largest operating steam locomotive, is scheduled to pass through Port Clinton, PA (NOBO mile 1220.3) on July 2 as part of its coast-to-coast tour celebrating America's 250 anniversary. There will not be a scheduled stop.

If you are hiking through Port Clinton on July 2, please:

  • Stay on the marked A.T. through the rail yard. The rail yard is private property.
  • Follow all directions from railroad personnel and other officials.
  • Parking in Port Clinton is very limited and may be difficult in the hours around the train passing through.
