May 2, 2025

Roanoke, Va. — HMBLE HSTLE Clothing and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) are proud to announce the launch of their collaborative collection, “Beyond Us”, honoring 100 years of the Appalachian Trail’s legacy. The collection, with select pieces dropping on May 9, merges streetwear with outdoor culture, emphasizing the importance of nature, community, and east coast pride in the Trail and the importance of taking responsibility for its future vitality.

Beyond Us partnership logos

The “Beyond Us” collection is inspired by the Appalachian Trail’s century-long history of adventure and the role today’s youth play in stewarding its future. This partnership brings together HMBLE HSTLE’s commitment to storytelling and representation as a black-owned business clothing brand with the ATC’s efforts to protect and sustain a Trail experience that is meaningful and welcoming for all.

“The HMBLE HSTLE + ATC collection exudes the gritty, outdoorsy and zestful A.T. spirit and gives people the opportunity to literally wear their love for the Trail on their sleeve,” said the ATC’s Chief Growth Officer Jeri Ward. “The ATC’s work is guided by a vision of a broader, protected A.T. landscape that is open to all and a commitment to empowering the next generation of trail stewards and enthusiasts. Our partnership with the Humble Hustle Company will help provide pathways for youth to experience the outdoors and connect with the transformative power of nature.”

“Beyond Us” features apparel and accessories that embody the essential connection between urban culture and the outdoors. This collaboration brings to life unique merchandise for Appalachian Trail enthusiasts and supports the Humble Hustle Company’s programs and initiatives to connect and engage youth in the greater Roanoke area in environmental education and service opportunities.

Key collection features:

  • Limited-edition designs inspired by the Appalachian Trail
  • Trail-ready, functional pieces
  • Stories highlighting a variety of unique and personal relationships with the Appalachian Trail

Humble Hustle Company CEO Xavier Tramaine said: “Alignment is everything for us. We are walking into a season of strategy, and not only are we celebrating our 10th year for Humble Hustle, but one of our premier programs, Humble Hikes, continues to use the A.T. for outdoor exposure events for the last eight years. This collaboration with the ATC not only makes sense, it also helps to elevate our programs. I am elated to be able to use our platform the way we do best to show different demographics that things don’t have to just look one way.”

To celebrate the launch, HMBLE HSTLE will be a part of ATC’s annual Trail Days festivities at the Damascus Trail Center on May 16-18.

The “Beyond Us” collection will be available online at the ATC Trail Store starting May 9 and select retail partners. For more information, visit thehumblehustle.org and follow @hmblehstleclothing and @appalachiantrail on social media.

About HMBLE HSTLE Clothing
HMBLE HSTLE Clothing began as a way to fund The Humble Hustle non-profit, selling t-shirts with a simple message: Keep Giving. What started as a fundraiser quickly evolved into a movement, leading founder Xavier Duckett to take a leap of faith — leaving his 9-to-5 to pursue his passion full-time.

By 2017, HMBLE HSTLE Clothing secured a retail space in Roanoke, Virginia, growing into more than just a brand—it became a platform for urban streetwear with a purpose. People ask about our now-iconic logo, sparking the question: Why is the “U” missing? The answer? You must take the ‘U’ out of the equation to fortify your hustler spirit and humble mentality to give back to others.

As the only non-profit devoted exclusively to the entirety of the Trail and its landscape, we endeavor to keep its vast natural and scenic beauty healthy, resilient, and connected, so that everyone can experience its transformative power for generations to come. Together with our supporters, partners, and thousands of volunteers, we keep the Trail alive.
