Our Team

Originally from upstate New York, Maddy grew up in Texas where she developed a love for nature amongst the rolling hills and agave blooms of Central and Far West Texas. She has since returned to the East Coast and is currently based in Asheville, NC.

Maddy earned her B.S. in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin. Her background in graphic design and marketing spans a range of industries, including higher education, public radio, and public engagement. Through these roles, she honed her ability to create compelling content and manage diverse communication projects, skills that have directly informed her current role in digital marketing. Prior to joining the ATC, Maddy managed communications for Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park, where she led social media campaigns, developed community partnerships, and oversaw public communications during the park's closure following Hurricane Helene.

Maddy is passionate about connecting people to the outdoors. When not hiking or foraging, she enjoys knitting, sewing, and discovering new music.
