Linda, a native Virginian, has been an outdoors advocate since first hiking on the A.T. as a child while camping at Caledonia State Park. Volunteerism has been an important life-long commitment and has led her to maintain sections of the A.T. for almost two decades, with various other contributions to three different maintaining clubs along the way. She is past editor of the Potomac Appalachian, and is currently involved in boundary stewardship, wilderness trail work, sign-making, and is the president-elect of the Roanoke Appalachian Trail Club.  “Willow” thru hiked in 2016. In addition to spending much time in the woods, she gardens and raises honeybees and chickens with her husband who volunteers with the A.T. as much as she does!
