Join us for a presentation by Mallory Weston, artist, metalsmith, and inaugural artist in residence for the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
Mallory Weston will discuss her studio practice and how her work has transformed through her involvement with the long-distance backpacking community. Her talk will explore the challenge of translating the immersive and often ephemeral experience of thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail into material form.
