Horns Pond Shelters (NOBO mile 2014.6) will be closed from Saturday, September 19th at 10:30AM through Sunday, September 20th. The Maine Appalachian Trail Club (MATC) will be conducting repairs on the shelters. The tenting pads will still be available, but hikers are advised to avoid the shelter area and follow all posted directions from MATC.
