Hike Description

  1. From the parking lot, either pick of the A.T. where it runs around the back of the lot or walk a short distance along Weverton Cliff Road to the intersection. The A.T. heads into the woods across the road – follow it northbound on a steep climb with switchbacks.
  2. Follow the short side trail to the cliffs after 1 mile.
  3. Retrace your steps to complete the hike.

Directions

From US 340, take the exit for MD 67 North and follow it until the first right at Weverton Cliff Rd. The trailhead parking is a large, paved lot on the right about a minute after turning onto Weverton Cliff Road. The A.T. skirts the back of the lot.
