Contained Wildfire at Round Bald, NC/TN Border: Early Friday morning, firefighters helped contain a 20.75-acre wildfire along the A.T. (NOBO 381.2). The Trail in this area remains open as the situation is monitored.

A.T. Visitor Experience to be Enhanced in Boiling Springs: The ATC has completed the ownership transfer of its Mid-Atlantic regional office building to the South Middleton Township, a critical step in increasing essential services and information for area visitors.
