U.S. Forest Road 10 (USFS 10/Danby-Landgrove Rd) is closed at milepost 6.3 on the Mt. Tabor end, near the intersection with USFS 30. Suspected beaver activity in the area has contributed to a culvert washout, making the road impassible at that point. The Appalachian Trail (A.T.) is still accessible from the USFS 10/Danby-Landgrove Rd parking area (the trailhead for Little Rock Pond). See map below.
The Forest Service is working to assess and repair the damage. For more information, visit: https://www.fs.usda.gov/alerts/gmfl/alerts-notices
