Pennsylvania – Trail Realignment – Port Clinton

Thanks to the good work of volunteers with the Blue Mountain Eagle Climbing Club, the local Trail Club, the Appalachian Trail (A.T.) has been realigned through the Port Clinton rail yard (NOBO mile 1,220.0). The realignment guides hikers on a different route through the yard and switchbacks were installed to eliminate some collapsing steps.

Hikers should follow the new Trail alignment, stay on the Trail, and use caution through the rail yard.
