Stefan Moss

Stefan Moss is an environmental scientist and educator. As a scientist, he has worked in the public sector on United Nations-related projects in the Caribbean including the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants, most recently assisting in the completion of the Bahamas National Implementation Plan. In the private sector, he parlayed his experience in ecotoxicology to work on environmental remediation projects in the United States and The Bahamas for Fortune 500 companies such as Exxon Mobil and BP.

Moss is a former adjunct professor of Environmental Science at Georgia State University, and has held other academic appointments at Lincoln College of Technology and Georgia Military College. In 2014, he launched The Moss Group which provides diversity, education & inclusion (DEI), mentorship, and environmental stewardship training services for public and private organizations including the U.S National Park Service, U.S Forest Service, Greening Youth Foundation, and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biology from Lee University, and a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Tennessee.
