Rubén Rosales


Rubén Rosales, a resident of Cambridge, Massachusetts, retired in 2012 after a 42-year career in the health-care industry, most recently as international-operations president for a division of Smith & Nephew, a global medical-technology company.

Inspired by the Green Mountains after relocating to New England in 2001, he thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2013. An immigrant from civil strife in Guatemala 50 years ago, he served on the boards of several nonprofits in the Memphis area after graduating from Belmont University in Nashville and beginning his career at what is now Baxter International.
