Roberta is certified as a trainer in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) by the Center for Nonviolent Communication (Cnvc.org). She has shared NVC on five continents, introducing Nonviolent Communication to families, communities, schools, businesses, and organizations. Roberta also facilitates leadership trainings, public conversations, mediations, dialogues, and visioning and strategy sessions.

In Asheville, NC, Roberta is working with ALIVE!, a community-based institute that offers training and mentoring to young leaders of color to live and facilitate NVC in their communities. She also facilitates and coaches conversations and meetings on issues relating to race in North Carolina. Roberta has worked for more than a decade in the Mideast with hundreds of Israelis, Palestinians and internationals. As an ordained Buddhist lay practitioner, Roberta has offered years of NVC trainings online and at monasteries and retreat centers on several continents, including training nuns and monks from her root Plum Village tradition.

With private groups, families and individuals, Roberta offers coaching, mediation, classes, and trainings that support healing and connection by integrating NVC and Mindfulness into all aspects of personal, family, communal, and organizational life. Roberta offers her work in service of the peaceful transformation of our world, individuals, families and organizations, and community and spiritual health and development.
