Nicole L. Prorock

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Nicole is in charge of setting financial policy and direction for ATC while also serving as an active participant in the organization’s overall strategy. She brings over 20 years of accounting and finance experience to ATC, working previously in the public, private, and nonprofit organization sectors. Nicole earned a B.A. in Business Administration and a M.S. in Accountancy from the University of South Carolina, a Graduate Certificate in Community and Economic Development from Pennsylvania State University, and a M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. She is an actively licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Nicole grew up playing in the woods and exploring the South Mountain portion of the Appalachian Trail, especially where it bordered her parents’ property in Smithsburg, Maryland. Today, she continues to play on the A.T. as she spends most weekends training for marathons and triathlons on the C&O Canal. Additionally, she is a volunteer firefighter for the New Market District Volunteer Fire Company and an active member of the Frederick Women’s Rugby Football Club.
