JT Stokes

Next Generation Advisory Council Member

JT (Jillian-Taylor) Stokes is an organic farmer, avid explorer, and student of all things plants. After graduating from Drexel University and working on Maryland climate policy for just under two years, JT realized it was time to retire her white collar to prioritize a nature-based lifestyle. In 2016 she settled herself in the Maryland hills and began the long path as an earthskills and homesteading apprentice, where the lines between volunteer work and playtime blur. To JT, every hike is both a lecture and a sermon where learning and growth become intertwined.
