Devin’s personal yoga practice started when she was in her early teens, practicing with her mom to black and white VHS tapes in the living room. Since then, Devin has developed a devoted asana and meditation practice that has cultivated strength in her mind and body. She has struggled with anxiety and depression over the years and in her early adult life and has realized how beneficial the practice can be to ease these symptoms and work through the feelings more productively. Since attending a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Shambhava Yoga Konalani in early 2015, Devin has shared her teachings globally in studios, rock gyms, and out in nature. She has taken continuing education courses with different yoga instructors to further develop her knowledge base. In a parallel way of life, Devin’s time spent in the outdoors has always helped her through challenging times. After thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2018 and several other trails over the years, she enjoys finding ways to incorporate the skills and healing practices she has learned on trail into her day-to-day life. Devin loves to bring her love for nature and the outdoors into her practice as well. Creating a space for people to decompress, to stretch and strengthen, and to find a sense of community is something she looks forward to doing for many years to come.
