Celeste Kathleen

Celeste Kathleen is a nonprofit professional based in Raleigh, North Carolina with seven years of experience in the field. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management and a minor certificate in Health from North Carolina State University, and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she focused on Community Management and Policy Practice. She has worked in fund development and program coordinator roles for several nonprofits including Marbles Kids Museum, The Food Bank of Central and Eastern and North Carolina, and Together We Rise, as well as serving in contract and consulting positions for fundraising and grant projects. She specializes in community partnerships, grant writing, and program evaluation. Through this work, Celeste has maintained importance in connecting the youth she serves to the outdoors. This has been showcased through several projects and partnerships she has led such as developing a family camp-in series, spearheading an outdoor recreation museum exhibit in downtown Raleigh, and connecting foster youth to bicycles and safe outdoor spaces.
