Join the Cumberland Valley Appalachian Trail Club on Saturday, November 17 from 9 a.m to 12 p.m on one of their monthly Saturday work trips. Help the club with A.T. maintenance and spend a rewarding day alongside devoted A.T. volunteers to make a difference.
The work on the A.T. includes cleaning out erosion control structures, clearing fallen trees, and cutting back overgrown vegetation on the sides of the Trail. Tools, supplies, and training will be provided. The work-trip starts at 9 a.m on November 17th at the Scott Farm Appalachian Trail Work Center and will conclude around noon.
Participants should wear sturdy boots, long pants, and work gloves. Participants should bring plenty of water, rain gear, bug repellant, snacks, and sun protection.
