Join the Appalachian Mountains Club’s Berkshire Chapter (AMCB) on Thursday, October 11 from 9 a.m to 4 p.m and enjoy a day devoted to preserving and monitoring the natural resources of the A.T. in South County. Monitoring and recording natural resources data throughout the Trail enables the study of environmental trends and provides the ability to make predictions on future conditions, and helps to inform future management decisions.
Be sure to wear long pants, sturdy shoes. Also be sure to bring, sunscreen, bug spray, snacks/lunch to eat on the Trail, and plenty of water for the day.
