Thru-hikers from Georgia are heading north and we want them to be able to find their way to Maine easily.
Join the Connecticut Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club on Wednesday, May 16, from 9 a.m to 3 p.m as they clear the Appalachian Trail of fallen trees and overgrown vegetation. The group will be meeting at the hiker parking lot off of Bunker Hill Rd in Salisbury CT. Be sure to wear sturdy boots, long pants, and work gloves. Also, bring your own lunch, personal snacks, a rain jacket and plenty of water.
