Hiking on the Appalachian Trail is made possible thanks to the hard work of dedicated volunteers. From Georgia to Maine volunteers are clearing blow downs, creating sustainable surfaces to walk on, and ensuring the Appalachian Trail remains a primer hiking experience.
Join the Georgia Appalachian Trail Club (GATC) on April 2 in Dawsonville, GA for one of their monthly trail maintenance excursions. Projects vary in difficulty, please contact the email at the top of this posting for more information.
