for a work day near Shenandoah National Park.
Spend the day on the Appalachian Trail and giving back to it by building erosion control structures. Learn how trail maintainers use rocks to make the Trail more sustainable and enjoy the satisfaction of a good days work.
Please be sure to wear long pants and sturdy boots. Bring plenty of water (at least 2-3 liters) and snacks for the day, a lunch, sunscreen, bug spray, and a rain jacket.
Advanced registration necessary, space is limited.
