Join us for the Appalachian Trail Conservancy's annual Family Hiking Day on Saturday, September 28, 2019.
ATC's Family Hiking Day is a great opportunity to get outdoors with the whole family. Take a hike together or try different hikes and compare notes later. Then join us for our Family Hiking Day Celebration at Children's Lake in Boiling Springs. We'll have hikes, outdoor activities for kids, and a special visit from Smokey Bear! Celebration activities kick off at 9:00 am and end at 2:00 pm.
About That Bubble... - Take a walk with geologist Mike Stefanic through the village of Boiling Springs and learn about the natural springs that feed the lake, the rock formations and The Bubble that gave the town its name.
