Check out how the Appalachian Trail held up over the winter on Saturday March 24th, at 9AM, and learn about how the Connecticut Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain club identifies trail maintenance projects that volunteers (such as yourself!) will be working on in the future. Walk on the trail with Jim Liptack, as he discusses what it takes to keep the A.T in good shape. Wear sturdy boots, long pants and work glove, and bring your own lunch, personal snacks and plenty of water. Meet at the trail head, at the intersection of Rt 7 & 112, West Cornwall, CT 06039.
