Crosscut Sawyer Certification -- Sugar Grove, VA



Crosscut Sawyer Certification course provided by U.S. Forest Service personnelVolunteers Trudy and John Phillips of NBATC operating a crosscut saw for A.T. volunteers.

April ​1st will be the recertification day.

Club volunteers that are looking to get certified for the first time, and those sawyers looking to up-cert (current "A" sawyers wanting to become "B" sawyers) will need to attend both days of the course. 

All volunteers using a chain saw or crosscut saw on the Appalachian Trail must successfully complete a sawyer certification workshop. For more information, ​click here
