Chris Blosser

Position: Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations

For the past 12 years, Chris ran a large vineyard and winery operation in Virginia where he served as the Vice President of Operations and General Manager.  For his leadership in the rapidly growing Virginia wine industry, Chris was appointed to the Virginia Wine Board by Virginia's Governor where he served as Vice Chairman.  He also served on the board of the Loudoun County Farm Bureau as well as serving as Vice President of the Loudoun Wineries Association.  Prior to entering the wine business, he worked in television production in North Carolina’s Outer Banks as a Creative Services Manager and Producer for Charter Communications.  He received numerous regional and national awards for his productions and enjoyed helping small to mid-sized businesses grow and thrive.

Growing up in Maryland, Chris was bitten by the hiking bug at age four when he first ascended Old Rag Mountain in Virginia with his father.  He carries on that tradition with his two boys and you may see them day-hiking on the A.T on any given weekend.  Chris is a former Boy Scout and, in addition to hiking, he enjoys camping, traveling and listening to live music.  He is also an avid musician and plays saxophone in bands across the DC area.

Chris resides in Virginia and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from Ohio University.
